I love my short, gray hair

“Short, Gray Hair makes you Ugly, Unloveable, and Worthless…” is the title of this amazing video by Matthew Blom that I saw on YouTube. I share it here because it underscores a message I want all aging women to get. It’s a message that’s central to my mission for my Change the Way You Age Group Coaching Program.

I found myself moved to tears as I watched it. It is beautifully done with such love and compassion — Thank you Matthew Blom.

I love the look of gray hair. Mine is graying, slowly and I’m impatiently waiting for it to finish. And short is the only style that I can manage with my type of hair. It’s true that there is a lot of focus on long hair but when I watched the video I saw how many stars I’d forgotten about who look gorgeous with short hair. I tend to fuss more about the style than the colour.

Me, too. I actually like the color of my hair and keeping it short is a must for me because of the arthritis in my hands. That video is exceptional in its’ message of self acceptance. It really struck a chord with me. Acceptance of self is one key to aging powerfully.
